The public website FieldInsight and the mobile app Field Insight on Android and iOS are owned and operated by Field Insight Ventures Private Limited ("Field Insight", "We", "Us"). We recognise that you are concerned about your personal privacy.

This Privacy Policy informs you of what personal information is collected, and how that information is maintained and used. This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected or submitted on our website, portal, and mobile app.

1. Types of Information We Collect and Purpose

Personal Information collected includes:

• Name
• Phone number
• Work email
• Employee ID
• Other "sensitive personal data" per Indian legislation
• Billing address, payment instrument data, tracking information (for transactions)

Non-Personal Information collected includes:

• GPS location for tracking and work planning
• Photos, documents, files uploaded by users (with geo-stamps)
• Device details: manufacturer, model, battery status, OS version, Google Play Services version

We will only collect your personal information with your consent. You are always free to refuse to provide this information; however, doing so may prevent you from accessing or using FieldInsight application.

You hereby represent and warrant that the personal data that you enter into your Field Insight application is true, accurate, and based on the truth, and you are fully responsible for such data and you have full authority and/or personal right to submit data to us, including releasing us from all civil lawsuits or criminal charges that arise of misleading information in connection with the data that you enter into Platforms and/or Features.

We reserve the right from time to time to request authentication, verification and/or updates of your data , so that your data and information is accurate, complete and up-to-date, including temporarily/permanently suspending or not allowing you to access certain features in case you haven't authenticated and upgraded your data.

By continuing to access the Field Insight application, our features and/or other services, you hereby give clear and unequivocal consent to us to obtain and collect your data as described above.

2. Prohibited Data

You must not host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, store, update, or share information that falls under prohibited data.:

Prohibited content includes information that:

• Belongs to another person and to which the user has no right.
• Is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy (including bodily privacy), insulting or harassing based on gender, or racially/ethnically objectionable.
• Relates to or encourages money laundering or gambling, or promotes enmity between different groups with intent to incite violence.
• Is harmful to a child.
• Infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, or other proprietary rights.
• Deceives or misleads the addressee about the origin of the message, or knowingly communicates misinformation that is patently false and untrue.
• Impersonates another person.
• Threatens the unity, integrity, defense, security, or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order, or causes incitement to a cognizable offence, or is insulting to another nation.
• Contains software viruses or computer code designed to interrupt or limit computer resource functionality.
• Violates any law for the time being in force

3. Data Ownership and Retention

All individual data that is captured as described above remains under the ownership of Field Insight customers (Direct/indirect employer of Field Insight users). Data retention & purging is controlled by Field Insight's licensing contract signed with its customers. Acceptance of this Privacy Policy by end users means acceptance of ownership of information and associated data handling policy by their employers. Field Insight cannot be held responsible by end users for any supposed violation beyond the stated commitments in this Privacy Policy document. Field Insight assures its end users that none of the Customer License contract terms remain in violation of the privacy law.

4. Sharing of Data

We may share your Information, on a need-to-know basis, with third-party service providers that assist with our business operations. These third parties are only permitted to use your Personal Information as required to deliver services to us such as hosting, maps, communications, analytics, support, and security under contracts requiring encryption, access control, logging, breach notice, and confidentiality.

5. Security Precautions

Field Insight has reasonable security measures in place to safeguard information under its control from loss, abuse, and modification in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

6. Force Majeure

You agree that you shall not hold Field Insight liable for any delay, loss, costs damages, claims, or actions that may be suffered or incurred by the user in relation to (a) downtime of the Field Insight application owing to any reasons beyond the reasonable control of Field Insight, and/or (b) any other reasons beyond the reasonable control of Field Insight owning to which any services is delayed or fails.

7. Modification

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time by updating on the Website. Your continued usage of our Services after any changes to this Privacy Policy will be deemed as acceptance of such changes.
